This Sunshine Coast home renovation was designed to feel like a thoughtfully resolved new build, with interiors that connect seamlessly to the surrounding landscape. As a Sunshine Coast renovation interior designer, the focus of the project was to create a home that supports relaxed coastal living while offering multiple spaces for gathering, entertaining and quiet retreat.

The original brief was to transform the property into a spacious five-bedroom home that felt cohesive and intentional rather than simply extended or updated. Through careful spatial planning and interior design, the main living areas now open to the outdoors, allowing natural light, pool views and garden spaces to become part of the daily experience of the home.

Feature ceiling panels introduce subtle architectural interest while natural warm textures visually ground the interior spaces. The original timber floorboards were retained to anchor the home with warmth and character, providing contrast to the layered palette of natural materials and earthy tones used throughout the renovation.

Existing arched forms were reimagined as feature windows that frame views to the pool, adding a sense of charm and architectural detail. Designed with connection in mind, the home now offers multiple indoor and outdoor entertaining zones, allowing the kitchen, living areas and outdoor spaces to flow together effortlessly.
