For this Vine Vale home, the brief started simple: white and wood, a palette to give her boys a sense of calm and longevity as they grow. But the longer we worked together, the clearer it became that our client loved colour, and that instinct became part of the design rather than something to design around. The result holds both: a calm, considered base with pockets of colour and personality running through the house.
The kitchen and living spaces lean into warmth while the lounge centres around a brick fireplace, a spot designed to anchor the room and be well used.
