A heritage stone cottage in Tanunda, thoughtfully reworked as a development with a focus on real family living rather than creating a showpiece. The brief was simple: warm, practical, and budget-conscious, while still respecting the character and history of the original home.
The original stone facade and street presence were carefully retained, while the interior was opened up to create a light-filled kitchen and dining space that flows effortlessly to the garden through bi-fold doors. New joinery and finishes were chosen to sit comfortably alongside original features, including the cottage’s fireplace, allowing the home to feel layered, lived-in, and considered rather than overly renovated.
Once complete, the property was styled for sale to help potential buyers imagine how naturally the home could support everyday life for its next family.
